White joins 20:20 Mobile MD James Browning out of the Crewe based distributor

20:20 Mobile finance director Andy White has resigned after more than 16 years at the distributor.

Mobile News understands White resigned from the company, which is in the process of being acquired by Brightstar, in October – with an internal announcement being issued today.

White’s official leaving date is December 23, and is said to have already accepted a new position outside of the mobile industry. His replacement is currently unknown.

It is the second significant management change to hit 20:20 (now Brightstar 20:20) this month, with current MD James Browning also resigning from the firm to take on a new position at biking distributor Fisher Outdoor Leisure, said to begin in March – April.

Browning is expected to end his eight-year spell with 20:20 at the end of this year. Former Brightstar Europe MD Jim Michel has already been named MD of the new company, Brightstar 20:20.
