Kent-based dealer named “ultimate front-line team” in telecommunications category at ninth annual Stevie Awards

O2 Centre of Excellence partner Active Digital has won a gold award for telecoms front-line customer services at the annual Stevie Awards in Las Vegas.

The Kent-based dealer’s front-line team of “Active Angels” were named the “Ultimate front-line team” in the technology industries (telecommunications) category at the awards, held in the Bellagio Casino in Vegas on February 27.

The Stevie Awards are seen as one of the most prestigious awards in sales and customer services, with more than 2,900 nominations from more than 60 countries. More than 50 awards were presented in the customer services category alone.

Finalists were whittled down using an average score determined by an initial panel of 139 judges worldwide. A specialised judging committee then determined the gold, silver and bronze award for each category.

Active Digital business support director Jo Wimble-Groves (pictured) said that the firm had won the award by showing customers that it cares.

She added: “Our commitment to service excellence for our customers and how we look after our people has translated into real value, allowing us to differentiate ourselves in a competitive market place, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.”
