Bullitt appoints former O2 and BT employee Linda Summers as CMO

Summers had spent more 10 years in various roles at BT and O2 from 1996. 

Bullitt Group has appointed former O2 and BT employee Linda Summers as its new chief marketing officer (CMO).

Summers was placed in the newly created role on September 7, having left her most recent position as Interactive Investor chief marketing officer (April 2014 to September 2016). Previously she was notably Telefonica group strategy and performance management vice president (January 2001 to May 2006) and BT head of international mobile marketing (1996 to 2001).

Her duties as CMO at the Reading-based rugged phone maker will involve overseeing and building customer experience with its brands, which include Caterpillar, Ted Baker, Kodak and Land Rover.

Bullitt Group CEO Peter Stephens said: “Linda’s background across digital, ecommerce, social networks and services will further enhance Bullitt’s offerings and improve our overall customer experience and help us delight our customers with great products and services. I am delighted that she is joining the senior team to help to guide the next stage of our strategy.”
