Partners of the airtime distributor can offer their customers leasing options on hardware such as handsets

Chess Partner has launched its own leasing service enabling partners to offer customers hardware on a monthly basis.

Any of the Vodafone, EE and O2 airtime distributor’s 600 partners can offer leasing options on handsets, fixed line phones, tablets and iPads. Each partner will also get commission bonuses placed on a set number of leasing contracts sold.

The company has partnered up with Henry Howard Finance to offer the solutions, joining the likes of Data Select and Mitel. Finance is a sector which has seen significant uprise in recent years, particularly in the motoring trade. According to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, over 2.6 million new cars were sold within the UK throughout 2015. More than 980,000 of these cars worth £16.2 billion were purchased through finance and leasing alone.

Chess Partner managing director John Pett said: “We are keen to continue to expand the products and services we offer and leasing is a key part of our growth strategy to support our Partners across the UK.”
