Specialists in data, hosted IP telephony and data selected to underpin product growth within company’s indirect channel

Daisy Group has set up a new specialist partner support team in a move it says is to support the product growth of its indirect channel.

The telecoms provider said the new team will provide a seamless ‘quote-to-bill’ experience for its 250 plus business partners and their customers.

It includes mobile specialist and channel manager Simon Hunt-Mason, sales manager for VoIP Chris Davis and Keith Adams, a business development manager specialising in data.

Daisy said with the addition of these specialists, its business partners are now able to focus on sales without having to get involved in support issues.

Daisy head of the indirect channel Andrew Wilson (pictured) said: “Listening to the channel, we found that businesses want to enter new markets but are looking for a suitable partner supplier to help them get there.

“Already we are seeing growth in these areas. Partners who have previously only sold a couple of products are now taking advantage of this greater portfolio.

“In January 2011 we only offered network and mobile services. Since then we have grown substantially, doubling our product offering with the addition of hosted IP telephony and data services.

“The introduction of product experts into our team plays a valuable part in our objective for growth. It ensures our partners have the confidence they need to sell these cutting-edge technologies.”
