Daisy Group has promoted commercial director Andrew Goldwater to the position of managing director for its retail business.

Goldwater (pictured), reporting to Daisy Group CEO Matthew Riley, is now responsible for product, marketing, sales and pricing within the division. In addition he also leads a Group commercial function, developing the product pipeline for each of the company’s sales channels.

He joined Daisy following the acquisition of BNS Telecom for £10.45 million in February 2010. There he was financial controller, and financial director, before being appointed as Daisy’s commercial director in 2010.

Riley said: “Andrew has proven himself to be a great asset to Daisy. He is commercially-minded and has a clear strategic vision for the retail business, aligning propositions to the evolving and often demanding needs of business customers.

“With a clear understanding of the business communications market and a wealth of experience in the sector, he is committed to driving our business forward.”

Goldwater said: “The communications and technology market is constantly evolving and IO am looking forward to helping Daisy build on its current success and develop opportunities for further growth.”
