Operator Three erases dealer log-ins to its online customer registration system in order to eradicate low-volume connectors

Dealers have been unable to connect Three after the operator deleted connector log-ins for its online Sprint registration system without warning.

In a move to cleanse its dealer base of low-volume connectors, Three took the decision to remove certain dealers’ ability to connect to its Sprint system.

Dealers claimed the first they knew of Three’s action was when they attempted to log on and were instructed they were no longer authorised to use the Sprint system.

Three said it was deleting user login details of those dealers it believed were not trading with it regularly and those that were providing it with poor quality business.

A spokesman said: “It’s important to have a current view of the dealers that we are working with to ensure they meet our standards.

“We’ve reviewed our dealer base to remove a number of dormant dealers that have not traded with us recently.

“Separately to that we will stop trading with businesses that provide a poor customer experience or poor quality connections.”

But dealers were put out by the move, with some forced to return to inform their customers that deals on the table had been removed.
