Dixons Carphone to launch MVNO with Three in Spring

Customers buying connected devices from Carphone or Dixons Currys and PC World will be able to take out a mobile contract at the same time 

Dixons Carphone is to launch an MVNO in the Spring running off the Three network.

The retailer said the as-yet unnamed MVNO will bring “innovative and highly personalised connectivity options for customers to enjoy.”

Details on tariffs and pricing have yet to be announced.

Customers buying connected devices such as tablets, wearables, laptops, TVs and home appliances from Carphone or Dixons Currys and PC World will be able to take out a contract at the same time.

Carphone UK and Ireland CEO Graham Stapleton said the launch of the MVNO supports its “strategic vision” to continue to offer customers the widest range of connections, while Three director of wholesale Lynda Burton said Dixons Carphone was the operator’s biggest new customer to date.
