Doro and John Lewis in handset deal

Senior handset manufacturer Doro has started stocking four of its home phone products in retail giant John Lewis

Senior handset manufacturer Doro has signed and agreement with high street retailer John Lewis to stock four models of its home telephones.

Doro’s PhoneEasy 312cs, PhoneEasy 331ph, PhoneEasy 100w and PhoneEasy 105WR will are all available to purchase in John Lewis stores and online.

The handsets currently sell for between £20 and £50 each.

Doro UK and Ireland managing director Chris Millington (pictured) said the partnership with John Lewis is a sign the senior handset market continues to expand.

“We are very pleased to be helping the partnership buying team satisfy the needs of an area of the telecommunications market that is continuing to grow,” Millington said.

John Lewis buyer for landline telephones Bridget Nolan said: “Offering great usability at an affordable price, the Doro handsets are a great solution for consumers who are hard of hearing, need visual assistance or are simply after an easy-to-use home telephone.”
