Last month EE launched Smart Plans for its pay monthly customers

EE has announced that BBC iPlayer and YouTube are the latest services that can be streamed without impacting the data allowance of monthly plans.

Any EE customer with a Video Data Pass can now use the two new services without eating into their data use.

The new additions join Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, BT Sport, TV Player and MTV Play.

Customers can access EE’s Video Data Pass through the operator’s new smart plans, as either an inclusive swappable benefit for EE 4G and 5G Smart Plan customers or separately as a standalone pass for £8.99 per month.

EE pay monthly customers can access at least one Swappable benefit, which can be swapped either online or through the My EE app. Customers can also choose to purchase any of the benefits as an extra monthly addition.

Swappable benefits include; Music Data Pass, Video Data Pass, BT Sport App and Roam Further Pass.

Any customers on the Smart Plan can also upgrade anytime and get access to extended device warranty for the lifetime of the contract.
