CFO and CMO follow CEO Olaf Swantee out of the EE exit door following completion of BT acquisition

The EE exodus has began after the operator confirmed chief financial officer Neal Milsom and chief marketing officer Pippa Dunn have left the company.

The operator confirmed Milsom will depart from his role at EE ahead of BT’s takeover, which has been confirmed earlier today.

Milsom joins CEO Olaf Swantee on the departure list, after he confirmed his exit at the end of last year.

It brings to close Milsom’s 15 year stint with Orange, then EE once it was formed from 2010’s merger with T-Mobile. He became CFO in the summer of 2011, and has overseen the operator’s finances ever since.

Swantee and Milsom will be joined in their departure by CMO Pippa Dunn, who leaves after almost 13 years at the firm. Dunn joined Orange in 2003 in a marketing role, before she was made CMO.

She has overseen successful marketing campaigns such as EE’s Kevin Bacon adverts and the launch of EE’s broadband proposition.

She said in a statement: “It’s the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make, to leave EE at what is set to be a super-exciting time for the business, as it enters a new chapter with BT.

“But I believe that this is the right time for me to try something completely different. I hand over to Marc and his new team and wish them the very best of luck for the future.”
