The deal adds around 1,000 customers, £4 million in revenue and 13 staff to the Elite Telecom group

Elite Telecom has acquired Derby-based Vodafone platinum dealer 21C Telecom for an undisclosed fee.

The deal adds approximately 1,000 customers, over £4 million in revenue and 13 staff to the Elite Telecom group, bringing its total revenue to £30 million and headcount to 80.

21C has almost 9,000 mobile connections and has partnerships with all UK mobile networks. Its customers include TGI Fridays and Birlea Furniture.

In a press release announcing the deal, Elite said it will strengthen its product mix and bring additional expertise in mobile and IT convergence.

21C Telecom managing director Richard Hunt said: “I’m delighted to be joining Elite. 21C has grown consistently every year and key to that success has been the high levels of service our customers enjoy. This deal widens our own product portfolio and gives us access to a larger client base to replicate our past success.”

Elite founder and CEO Matt Newing said: “Richard and his team’s continued involvement within the Group is great news, they bring additional skills, energy and drive to succeed. This now places Elite’s annualised revenue in excess of £30 million with the Group’s headcount exceeding 80 staff across three UK locations and an office in Madrid.”
