Swindon-based firm looking to raise more than £50,000 for charity

Vodafone Platinum Partner, Excalibur, have launched an attempt to break the world record for the number of people taking part in a Swiss Ball exercise class.

The event, which aims to raise £50,000 for Bath’s Royal United Hospital (RUH) Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Facility, will take place at Swindon’s David Lloyd Health & Racquets Club on October 11.

The current record stands at 353 and the company is calling on other members of the mobile and telecoms sector to help them break the record.

“I’d like to challenge any company reading this to put together a team and come and join us in this world record attempt”, said chief executive officer James Phipps. This is a great opportunity to have some fun, become a world record holder and raise money for the RUH Appeal.”
