Distributor will move to larger premises on same Basingstoke site to consolidate all 380 employees into one building

Exertis has completed its move to a new office on the same Basingstoke industrial estate as its previous UK base.

The distributor has moved all 380 employees who had been located across several buildings on the Chineham Business Park estate.

It follows significant growth for the company that has led it to expand out into several buildings on the site from its original Elmwood building.

Exertis’ commercial departments, including sales, marketing, purchasing and the technical teams, will now operate from the Ashwood building. It will maintain existing offices in offices in Altham, Harlow, Stoke-on-Trent and Elland. It is also currently building a new 650,000 square foot National Distribution Centre in Altham.

Paul Bryan Exertis UK & I managing director said: “The requirement to move to new premises is indicative of how the Exertis business has developed over the last few years across our four technology areas: IT, mobile, home and supplies. We now have a facility that meets our needs today and can cope with our strategy for continued growth.”
