Cloud services provider also sees EBITDA increase 39 per cent and pre-tax profits 89 per cent as it hires a new head of channel strategy

Exponential-e has revealed revenue increased by almost a quarter (22 per cent) to £60 million for the year ending January 31, 2015.

Elsewhere, EBITDA was up 39 per cent to £10.2 million, while pre-tax profits increased 89 per cent to £4.5 million.

The company said that over the next year, it aims to maintain its rate of growth by continuing to champion its “customer-served first” approach, investing 10 per cent of earnings into research and development, and expanding internationally as the demand for technology solutions that extend the capabilities of cloud continue to grow.

Over the past 12 months, Exponential-e said it had cemented its status as one of the UK’s fast-growing, mid-market companies, celebrating new customer wins with the likes of Gloucester City Homes, the Church of England and Your World Recruitment.

It is headquartered in London and has offices in Manchester, Reading and New York. It has over 1,9000 customers across the UK, including Channel 4, Fulham Football Club, Thames Valley Housing and Asthma UK.

Exponential-e CEO Lee Wade (pictured) praised the “exceptionally talented employees” at the firm and said they will be instrumental in continuing its growth at home and as it begins to expand internationally.

He added: “As we aim to grow our workforce by 29 per cent over 2015, we will be looking to foster talent among our new recruits by hosting our eighth training academy designed to equip employees with new tactics and business strategies that will bolster our future success as a company.”

To coincide with this latest growth, Exponential-e has also appointed Michala Hart as its new head of channel strategy. She follows the recent appointments of Maria Cappella as chief operating officer and Jonathan Bridges as head of enterprise cloud.

Hart will assume responsibility for driving adoption of cloud services by channel partners and growing the company’s channel business. She will oversee the re-launch if its new channel partner portal, which it said has been redesigned to enable partners to better engage with it.

She joins with 20 years of experience in the telecoms space and joins from NTT Com Security, where she was vice president of global alliances for seven-and-a-half years.
