The Zest4 management team continues unchanged

Focus Group has increased its investment in Cheshire unified comms and wholesale provider Zest4. Terms of the deal are not being disclosed

The two companies will continue to operate as separate entities. Zest 4 managing director Mandy Fazelynia (above) continues in the role along with the current Zest 4 directors and the existing management team. Founder Freddie Fazelynia and chief financial officer Kevan Wakerley remain on the board as advisors.

Zest4 started in 2003. The company now plans on doubling revenue in the next two years with a mission to become “the wholesale partner of choice to the channel”. Focus Group was also set up in 2003, as a provider of business technology. It provides over 27,000 businesses with solutions across telecoms, IT, cyber security, connectivity, mobile and energy

We have known Focus Group co-founders Chris Goodman and Ralph Gilbert for a long time. From the outset, this investment was always going to be the most exciting next step for the business. The reputation, growth mindset and culture that Focus Group bring to the table is going to elevate Zest4 to the next level” said Mandy Fazelynia.

It is business as usual but we’re looking forward to coming to discuss some new products in 2023. We’re excited about the next phase of our growth with new investors on board”.

CEO at Focus Group chief executive officer Barney Taylor said;

Zest4 is a high-growth business with a great team and a reputation for being an outstanding service provider. We have a strong channel but the decision to make this investment changes our outlook. Zest4 will operate independently to Focus Group, to ensure the integrity our partners and customers enjoy today is maintained into the future.”

Focus Group co-founder and director Ralph Gilbert added;

Our investment in Zest4 is a defining moment for both businesses. We rate all of our suppliers and Zest4 consistently tops the table. We knew this move made sense. One of the most compelling things about this investment is the ability to get some great products and services into the channel”
