Distributor launches new range of protective cases for Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Mega handsets

Accessory distributor Frequency Telecom is looking to capitalise on the continued success of Samsung’s Galaxy devices by launching a new and exclusive range of protective cases.

The cases, which are manufactured by UK firm Case-Mate, are for the new Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Mega 6.3 handsets.

Protective S4 Mini cases will be sold under the new ‘Tough’ and ‘Tough Naked’ range – priced from £14.99. Case-Mate screen protectors for the S4 Mini are also available from £7.99.

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 ‘Tilt’ case (pictured) costs £30 and can be adjusted to suit each user’s needs – such as viewing a movie upright on the phone’s screen – the firm says.

Frequency, which is the exclusive supplier for Case-Mate products in the UK, said pre-orders are currently being taken from stockists and dealers.

Case-Mate accessories are available through a number of high street retailers including O2, Phones 4U, Carphone Warehouse as well as online retailers Amazon and Play.

Frequency Telecom MD Gareth Limpenny said: “Judging by the overwhelming number of sales of the Samsung Galaxy S4, we are anticipating that the S4 Mini will also be in high demand.

“The majority of accessory sales are around the time a consumer purchases their new device, so it’s incredibly important for retailers to stock a range of well-designed, stylised and interesting accessories like
Case-Mate’s cases, at the time of a new device launch.”
