Google’s Nexus One handset to be available through global partners when online store closes once last shipment is sold

Google has received its last shipment of the Nexus One and will close the web store once the stock is sold, it said in a company blogspot.

Customer support will still be available for current Nexus One customers and it will continue to be sold by operator partners, including Vodafone in the UK.

The company said that to ensure its developers have access to a phone with the latest Android operating system, it will be offering the Nexus One through a partner for sale to registered developers. Interested parties have bee advised to visit the Android Market Publisher website and log into their developer account to purchase the device.
