Accessories distributor’s ‘Juice’ charging products to go on sale at the retailer, with more partnerships in the pipeline

Retailer Fonehouse has signed a deal with newly-formed accessories distributor Gusto Telecom Solutions to sell its ‘Juice’ charging products in store and online.

It is the first key high street agreement that Coventry-based Gusto has signed since its formation in August.

Juice products are compatible with handsets including the Apple iPhone 5 and BlackBerry devices.

They will be packaged in cardboard drinks cartons with the strapline ‘Juice for your mobile’ and be priced between £14.99 and £19.99 each.

Fonehouse will also sell Gusto’s CANS brand – a range of over-the-ear and in-ear headset products – when they become available towards the beginning of next year.

Gusto managing director Joe Bennett said it was the first of a number of major high street retailers he expects to stock the products in time for Christmas – but he declined to reveal names.

Bennett said: “Our brands have been well received by all those who have been shown them. We have only been trading for three months but we’re growing at an exciting rate, which is exactly the position we want to be in at this early stage.”

Fonehouse commercial director Dan Schama said: “We want to sell products that look good on the shop shelves and draw the customer in, and the Juice products and their unique packaging does just that.”
