Huawei has launched updated smartwatches, earbuds and a tablet.

The main highlight is the £399 Huawei Watch 5, which introduces a new health tracking system that lets users take measurements with a tap of the finge and supports gesture controls such as double taps and finger slides.

The watch is available in 46mm and 42mm, comes in new colours, and uses titanium and sapphire glass for improved durability.

Huawei also revealed the £150 – £250 Watch Fit 4 Series, which includes a slimmer model 9.3mm thick. Designed for sports and outdoor use, it adds air pressure sensing and water sports tracking, with support for activities such as diving and golf. The company claims the battery life is long enough to avoid daily charging.

The FreeBuds 6 earbuds were also introduced, featuring a dual-driver setup for better sound and a new open-fit design aimed at comfort and call clarity.

Rounding out the announcements was the MatePad Pro 12.2-inch tablet, which includes a new OLED display that reduces glare and boosts brightness. It also supports stylus input and comes with a keyboard designed to make typing more like a laptop experience.

Huawei says it has seen strong growth in its wearable business, and continues to lead the market in China.
