Apple has expanded its Self Service Repair program to include the iPhone 15 lineup and M2-powered computers.

The service is now available in 24 additional European countries, including Croatia, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Switzerland. This expansion supports 35 Apple products across 33 countries and is available in 24 languages.

Apple Diagnostics for Self Service Repair, is now available in USA with plans to expand to Europe next year, is intended for users with the knowledge and expertise to repair Apple devices. It offers the same diagnostic tools as those used by Apple Authorised Service Providers and Independent Repair Providers to test device functionality and performance, and to identify parts needing repair.

“A global network of over 5,000 Apple Authorised Service Providers supports more than 100,000 active technicians”

Launched in April last year, Apple’s Self Service Repair provides access to manuals, genuine Apple parts, and tools used by Apple Stores and Apple Authorised Service Providers to anyone experienced in repairing electronic devices.

For users who lack experience in repairing electronic devices, visiting a professional Apple Authorised Service Provider with certified technicians who use genuine Apple parts — designed and tested to internationally recognized standards — is the safest and most reliable way to get a repair,” said Apple.

Over the past three years, Apple has nearly doubled the number of service locations with access to genuine Apple parts, tools, and training, including more than 4,500 Independent Repair Providers. A global network of over 5,000 Apple Authorised Service Providers supports more than 100,000 active technicians.”
