‘The Last Leg’ star booked for mobile industry’s biggest night out
Top stand-up star Josh Widdicombe, best known for the multi award-winning Channel 4 series The Last Leg, will host the Mobile News Awards on March 12 at The London Hilton on Park Lane.
Widdicombe has been performing stand up with multiple appearances on QI, Live At Apollo, A League Of Their Own, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You, and Taskmaster to name but a few.
He follows a long-line of top talent who have made The Mobile News Awards the highlight of the mobile channel calendar since 1995. They include Michael McIntyre, Frank Skinner, Lenny Henry, Jason Manford, and Sean Lock.
The Mobile News Awards is expected to be attended by around 700 industry guests enjoying a black-tie gala dinner followed by entertainment until around 3am.
