The company was certified following a lengthy accreditation process

Winchester-based telecommunications consultancy, Kid-A has become the first in its industry to become certified as a Social Enterprise for exceptional social and environmental performance.

Kid-A is a solutions business currently executing its strategy with Vodafone after winning a contract with them in 2021.

Becoming a Social Enterprise means a company has a social and environmental purpose to tackle global crises and they contribute around £60 billion to the UK economy.

These businesses aim to conduct business in a more ethical way and put the planet and society first.

Andy Silcock, Kid-A co-founder said the certification is: “A reflection of the company’s true intention to positively contribute to the environment, and all the beautiful humans out there, big props to the team for achieving this milestone but the graft does by no means stop here.”

The certification arrives months after the company was certified as the first B-corporation in the telecommunications industry.
