New sales manager joins to drive sales of its mobile and unified communications portfolio

B2b telecoms provider Maintel has appointed Rob Leader as sales manager of its Mobile and Network Services division.

He held the role of regional sales manager for the South East of England at O2 for seven years, having previously been data sales manager at the operator and in a similar role at Vodafone.

Vodafone Gold Partner Maintel claims that during his time at O2, he transformed the firm’s lowest performing sales team into the best in the UK.

His most recent position was as head of sales for the south of England at unified communications provider Vivio. He began his latest position last month.

“My goal is to stimulate aggressive growth through new business, whilst improving our already strong account management team, and growing the already highly rated service team and selling a wider range of solutions into existing customers,” he said.

He will be tasked with expanding Maintel’s 13,000 mobile connection base and its unified communications footprint.
