Now Focus adds Midland to its fast-growing empire

Focus Group has continued on its takeover trail acquiring Midland Telecommunications Management Ltd, which trades as  Midland Telecom & IT.

Focus this month secured £21.3 million in investment funding from Hg Capital Trust, an investor in European and transatlantic software and services.

Focus was founded in 2003 by Ralph Gilbert and Chris Goodman in Brighton and Hove. It has around 30,000 SME customers for its communications and software solutions, connectivity and value-added IT services.

Midland Telecom has been in business since 1987 and specialises in cloud-based products from Microsoft, Mitel, 3CX and BT

This year alone Focus Group has acquired Bristol cloud communications and mobile specialist Pinnacle, NHS England-approved comms supplier RPM Communications to add to its deals to buy unified comms specialists STL Communications comms specialist Evad.
