Vodafone Platinum and O2 Centre of Excellence partner signs up Premier League football club in one of four new contract wins

Olive Communications has added almost 1,100 new connections, after scoring deals with four “high-profile” customers, including former European Cup winners Chelsea FC, moving and storage company Pickfords, luxury shirtmaker Hawes and Curtis and medical instruments manufacturer Horiba.

The Vodafone Platinum and O2 Centre of Excellence partner now has around 120,000 connections according to CEO Martin Flick (pictured).

Samsung has been Chelsea’s official club sponsor since 2005.

O2 connections
The agreement with Chelsea adds 400 new O2 connections, constructed to best provide international travel services.

The Pickfords contract adds 450 new Vodafone mobile connections for Pickfords sales staff, drivers, porters and management teams.

Japanese manufacturer Horiba – which has an office in Northampton – will initially be supplied with around 200 connections.

Devices and management software are included as part of the two-year deal, which will be expanded during a second phase to include fixed line services.

The Hawes and Curtis (H&C) contract adds 40 new Vodafone connections. H&C has manufacturing and retail operations across Europe, and Olive expects to manage high levels of roaming and international use.

Olive chief executive Martin Flick said: “These wins fully demonstrate the underlying organic growth of our business whilst at the same time making a significant acquisition and investing in the right people to develop our longer-term strategy in order to continue to build on our successes.

Teams
“We now have one of the strongest teams in the industry, with a very compelling proposition supported by our strategic partners and are ideally placed to attract customers.

“Looking at our sales pipeline I can already see that we can only continue to grow and attract more customers of the same calibre as Chelsea FC, Pickfords, Horiba and Hawes and Curtis.”
