Opal rebrands as TalkTalk Business

TalkTalk B2B division changes its name to TalkTalk Business, promising customers cost savings and an increased product portfolio

Opal, the business division of TalkTalk Group, has today re-branded as TalkTalk Business.

The company said the change comes as TalkTalk looks to capitalise on its investment of over £500 million in Britain’s Next Generation Network through which it delivers solutions including data access, mobile, call handling, IP telephone systems, IT networking and security and wholesale business broadband.

Opal’s customers and partners have been informed of the change. It said the brand change would strengthen cost efficiencies through scale , a richer product offering with more IP services, the ability for TalkTalk Business to tap into the group’s research and development and increased brand awareness with the use of the TalkTalk name.

TalkTalk Business said it will retain its “complete focus on business customers and partners, bringing them the UK’s largest all IP network backed by UK-based call centres”.
