Vodafone platinum partner looking to add almost 40,000 connections as it retains its ranking of 64th position in the Tech Track 100

Premier Telecom is aiming to grow its customer base from 110,000 to 150,000 connections in the next six months.

The firm has made three base acquisitions this year, adding 6,500 connections on Vodafone.

In August, it acquired the mobile base of Vodafone gold partner Westcom Mobile Technology, worth 3,000 connections. This saw it take on Westcom’s office in Plymouth, expanding its UK presence further along the south coast.

It acquired the mobile base of Vodafone silver partner Car Telephone Services in May, adding 2,000 connections, and picked up 1,500 connections last September with a base acquisition from Crimson Tide.

Premier Telecom managing director Darren Ridge said: “We can definitely hit the 150,000 connection landmark in the next 12 months. Our customer base has also been driven by our customer ethos and continued high level of service.”

Meanwhile, Premier retained its ranking of 64th position in the latest Tech Track 100 league table, printed in the Sunday Times newspaper on September 16.

The Tech Track 100, which is printed every September in the national Sunday publication, ranks Britain’s 100 private technology companies with the fastest growing sales over the latest three years.

In the year ending December 2011, Premier posted sales of £17.39 million, resulting in annual sales growth of 52.11 per cent.

Ridge said: “Due to the criteria, it is far harder to appear on the Fast Track list two years running. That Premier Telecom have achieved this is down to the continued commitment of the staff to offer the best customer service experience, allowing our unique TRM (team resource management) to drive high customer net promotor scores.”
