Guest Motors deal takes Pure’s number of connections to over 7,000

B2B dealer Pure Telecom has signed a three-year contract worth 300 connections with commercial vehicle provider and car dealership Guest Motors.

Pure won the contract from T-Mobile’s direct sales operations and will now transfer all numbers over to O2. The deal sees Pure’s customer base extend to over 7,000 connections.

It’s the second large contract win Pure has had in the motor industry this year. In January, it won a two-year mobile and fixed-line deal with car dealership Rybrook Group worth close to 700 numbers, which included 130 mobile and 560 fixed-line connections, of which 300 were non-geographical numbers.

Pure Telecom managing director Matt Sandford said 85 numbers have been connected to BlackBerry handsets, with the remainder stretching across a range of Nokia Eseries mobiles.

In addition, Pure will provide Guest with 85 landlines connected through O2’s Joined Up Communications product.

Employees of Guest will also benefit from O2 Open, and employee and membership perks scheme that provides discounts on O2 products such as business broadband and business landline, as well as home broadband.

Sandford said: “This is a big win for us as Guest is a major name in the motor industry, especially in the Midlands. We’ve been working on this deal for up to five months so we’re delighted to have them on board.”
