Samsung announces Galaxy A71, A51 and S10 Lite, Note 10 Lite

New mid-range devices and versions of 2019 flagships at “accessible price”

Samsung has kicked off 2020 with the announcement of four new devices. The Galaxy A71 and A51 are new iterations of the company’s revamped Galaxy A range launched last year, while the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite are more accessibly priced versions of last year’s flagship S10 and Note 10 series.

The A71 and A51 both come with a main camera, ultra-wide, macro and depth lenses; the main camera is 64MP on the A71 and 48MP on the A51. Their screen sizes are 6.7 inches and 6.5 inches respectively, and they come with 4,500mAh and 4,000mAh batteries respectively.

The A71 has 128GB of internal storage, with MicroSD storage up to 512GB, and 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, while the A51 has either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, with MicroSD storage up to 512GB, and comes in 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM variants.

Both phones will be available in black, silver, blue and pink colours. They will be available in the UK from February 7.

The S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite have a 6.7-inch screen and a 4,500mAh battery each, an improvement on their flagship predecessors. The S10 Lite comes in prism white, prism black and prism blue colours, while the Note 10 Lite is in aura glow, aura black and aura red. They both have a triple-camera setup.

Additionally, they will run on Android 10 and They will be on display at CES 2020 in Las Vegas from January 7-10.

No UK operators have yet confirmed they are ranging the devices, nor has pricing been confirmed.
