Dedicated space to open from tomorrow, offering the widest range of Samsung products available for demonstration anywhere in the UK

Samsung is opening a concession at Phones 4U’s 112-114 Oxford Street store from tomorrow (March 30). It will feature the widest range of Samsung handsets available for demonstration in the UK.

The mezzanine area and a large portion of the ground floor at the store will be dedicated to Samsung.

Customers will be able to try and buy Samsung’s products, with three ‘play tables’ containing hero products such as the Galaxy Note (pictured left) and Galaxy Tab 10.1 (pictured right).

Demonstrations of product convergence will take place, run by a Phones 4U retail team trained on Samsung products. A 32 inch television will showcase Samsung’s AllShare technology, enabling the sharing of content wirelessly between devices including phones, tablets, TVs and cameras.

Three wall bays will display live Samsung contract and prepay handsets, as well as a range of accessories. The venue will also be used for launches and celebrity personal appearances in the future.

Samsung UK and Ireland telecommunications and networks division vice president Simon Stanford said: “As well as being able to buy products, we want the store to be an immersive and enjoyable experience for our customers.”

Phones 4U retail development director John Welsh said: “We have a strong history of successfully launching and selling Samsung Galaxy devices, which continue to be popular amongst our customers, and this makes us the perfect partner for this commercial adventure with Samsung.

“It reinforces that not only do we now offer the widest range of live Samsung handsets in the UK, our retail teams are the Samsung product experts on the high street.”
