It becomes the fifth Sim Local store opened at Heathrow
Sim Local has opened a new retail store at London’s premium airport Heathrow in Terminal 5.
The store is located just after security at T5B and allows Sim Local to connect with outbound passengers and help them avoid roaming charges while abroad for the first time.
It is the fifth Sim Local store at Heathrow, with others located across Terminal 2,3, another at T5, plus one in the London Underground walkway.
Passengers can purchase local SIM cards from a range of operators and MVNOs including Three, Lycamobile, AT&T and T-Mobile.
Customers can also buy mobile phone accessories, with products from Panzer Glass and Skross available.
Sim Local chief operating officer Andrew McClellan said: “We are thrilled to be launching a brand-new store at Heathrow Terminal 5, to cater to travellers who are flying internationally.
“This store is our fifth at Heathrow, cementing our strong retail presence here and paving the way for future expansion both domestically and abroad.”
