Swap36 is the first plan for tablets with data rollover

Sky Mobile has launched a new monthly plan for tablets that allows users to rollover data allowance.

The Swap36 and Swap24 plans allow consumers to update tablets after 36 or 24 months respectively and can currently pick up the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1-inch under the agreement.

Sky Mobile has become the first retailer to offer a data rollover plan for tablets and follows the launch of the network in January 2017 which it claims has saved a total of £26 million for its customers.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 alongside the Tab A 10.1 with details about iPad pricing to be released at a later date.

Sky Mobile director Sophia Ahmad said: “We launched Sky Mobile to shake up the mobile sector, and we’re now bringing that same flexibility and the UK’s lowest monthly prices to the tablet market.

“This is the first time any network has allowed customers to rollover their unused data for three years rather than lose it at the end of the month, and then share it between an entire family’s tablets and mobiles.”
