32GB ballistic black black nylon model exclusively available from distributor until end of the year

Tech Data Mobile will offer the exclusive black nylon version of the new Moto X Force smartphone until the end of the year, it has announced.

Motorola claims the Moto X Force is the world’s first “anti-shatter” phone, made deliberately to prevent the screen from damage.

It features Moto ShatterShield, made from five layers that absorb shock from impact. The display and embedded lens are warranted against shattering and cracking for four years from the original date of purchase.

It is powered by 2GHz quad-core processor, runs the Android OS and is guarded by nano-coating technology to make it water repellant.

The Moto X Force features a 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED touchscreen, has 21 megapixel rear and five megapixel front cameras, HD video recording, 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal memory that can be expanded by up to 2TB with a microSD card.

Motorola said the 3,760mAh battery can last for 48 hours and with its TurboPower technology, can gain 13 hours of power with 15 minutes of charging. It is also compatible with wireless charging.

Tech Data Mobile Android business development manager James Turner said: “The Moto X Force is built to withstand everyday knocks and accidents that inevitably happen, so for business, public sector and personal users who want to be sure their smartphone screen won’t crack under pressure, it’s the perfect choice.”

Tech Data Mobile is expecting stocks of the Moto X Force 32GB ballistic black nylon model to be available for shipment in mid November, and the distributor will hold the exclusive on this model until December.
