The operator follows O2 in temporarily closing stores

Three has announced the closure of all of its UK stores due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The news comes after O2 became the first operator to decide to close all of its stores until further notice on Monday.

A Three UK spokesperson said: Following guidance from the UK Government, we have taken the decision to close all of our retail stores.

“We thank our people for working over the last few weeks to support our customers in these difficult times.

“We will continue to keep the nation connected and, for any enquiries, customers can use the Three app 24/7, use Three Store Now which is a new service at www.three.co.uk/three-store-now on which customers can ask general questions between 9AM and 6PM.

“We thank our customers for their patience and support over the past few weeks and we apologise for any inconvenience caused to them.”

There are over 392,00 cases of coronavirus worldwide with current UK numbers at 6,650 and 335 deaths.
