Partnership gives Three most Xiaomi phones out of all MNOs

Three is now offering Xiaomi’s Mi 10 5G flagship and Redmi Note 9 mid-range device.

Xiaomi launched both devices earlier this year, but they were only available through its online shop.

The partnership means that Three, which also offers the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G, offers more Xiaomi devices than any other UK MNO.

it is also Xiaomi’s first UK operator partnership of this year. The manufacturer has opted to launch all of its new devices through its online store in 2020.

The Mi 10’s pricing starts at £49 upfront and £21 per month for the first six months, then £42 per month after that for 4GB data. Three is also offering a half-price promotion on the first six months of data for an unlimited data contract, which is £27 per month for the first six months, and then £53 thereafter.

The Redmi Note 9 starts at £19 upfront and £10 per month for the first six months, then £20 per month after, with 4GB of data. Three is also offering a deal on the phone with unlimited data, which costs £16 per month for the first six months, and then £28 per month after.

According to Strategy Analytics, the Redmi Note 9’s predecessor, the Redmi Note 8, was the fifth most popular Android smartphone globally in the first quarter of 2020.
