Three is undercutting its rivals for international calling costs after increasing its reduced rate destinations to 25

Three launched its reduced rate prepay tariffs for international calling in April this year for 12 countries, but says it has now extended this to 25 based on its success.

Three claims its international tariffs offer some of the lowest call charges to mobiles and landlines to popular outbound calling destinations such as Poland (starting from 2p per minute), and India (3p per minute) in the industry.

By comparison, the lowest standard rate call cost to Poland and India is 4p/6p per minute through ethnic MVNO Lyca Mobile, 8p/8p though GiffGaff, 7p/7p  through O2 (your country), 5p/5p through Vodafone (international SIM) and 10p / 10p  through Orange (Camel).

Other reductions on Three include 3p per minute to Indian,Chinese, USA landlines and mobiles, 4p per minute to Bangladeshi mobiles and landlines, and 6p per minute to Pakistani landlines.

Customers can access the lower calling rates by dialing a three digit country shortcode followed by the number they wish to call.

Full details on calling rates and country codes can be found on the Three website.
