The 130 outlets it bought from the retailer following its collapse have now opened after a full rebrand and refit, taking total numbers to 528

Vodafone has now opened all 130 stores acquired from Phones 4u following the retailer’s collapse in September.

All stores, which have now been rebranded and refitted, opened on Friday (November 14) – taking total store numbers to 528.

Vodafone UK CEO Jeroen Hoencamp said: “This year we’re investing more than ever to provide customers with the best services in the UK.”

The operator began reopening the stores on October 9, with the first appearing in Dagenham and Sittingbourne. The final six stores included Market Harborough, Dover, Stourbridge, Prestatyn and Trowbridge.

Vodafone saved 900 jobs after purchasing the stores after Phones 4u went in to administration on September 15.
