
Vodafone has launched a new screen damage insurance product, offering protection from just £2 a month.
The cover is available on selected devices and uses manufacturer-approved parts for repairs. Excess fees start at £25, with an optional express repair upgrade for £50, potentially returning devices within 24 hours. The insurance covers trips abroad, although replacement or repaired devices can only be sent to a UK address.
Claimants must provide proof of purchase and can make up to three claims in any 12-month period.
The new Screen Damage Insurance complements Vodafone’s existing range of device protection options, which include Accidental Damage & Breakdown cover, as well as comprehensive Loss, Theft, Accidental Damage & Breakdown cover. Vodafone claims it now offers the widest range of mobile insurance plans for a network.
