Le Saux spent two decades with Telefonica/O2 most recently as head of M2M managed connectivity and partner sales

Airtime reseller Zest4 has added former Telefonica exec Anton Le Saux as its new head of M2M.

Le Saux spent almost two decades at O2/Telefonica holding a variety of roles, including head of wholesale and from December 2010, and head of indirect sales from July 2012. Most recently, he was the operator’s head of M2M managed connectivity and partner sales, a role he had held from April 2013 and left last month.

Le Saux will begin his role at O2 wholesale and Vodafone partner Zest4 in September, where he will oversee the company’s new M2M partner programme, which it launched in May.

He will oversee a team tasked with recruiting new partners, developing bespoke M2M strategies for their customers.

Le Saux: “I am extremely delighted to be joining Zest4 and to help shape the company’s continuing M2M journey. I have huge respect and admiration for the work the team have done over the last 12 months in developing the M2M proposition.

“The Internet of Things and M2M are phrases that are on everyone’s lips, but in reality, a large proportion of resellers don’t really understand how they can profit from M2M or access the growing opportunity. My prime focus will be on educating the channel to enable them to clearly see the bigger picture and understand the longer-term revenues that M2M offers and what it can do for their customers.”
