The operator has offered a six-month BritBox subscription with inclusive data to its customers

EE has announced that it is the exclusive mobile partner for the streaming service BritBox and are offering customers six month subscriptions with inclusive data.

The service is available to all EE pay monthly mobile and tablet customers across the UK, with a wide range of content available from BBC and ITV.

Customers can access the service by streaming the content on their mobile, or via a range of Smart TVs, plus other streaming devices including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Google Chromecast.

After the six month subscription ends, customers can continue using the service for £5.99 per month, with the cost added to their monthly bill.

BT consumer division CEO Marc Allera said: “By partnering with BritBox, we’re giving our customers access to the best British dramas, comedies and films, so they can stream them wherever they are, at home or on the move, thanks to our superfast 4G and 5G mobile network.”

EE customers are able to sign up for the service by texting ‘BRITBOX’ to 150 from their device.
