Lycamobile has announced the launch of Lycainsure which will provide customers with mobile and gadget insurance. The network operator has teamed with Quotemetoday.co.uk to set up the service which will provide customers with insurance to protect against accidental damage, liquid damage, loss, travel, and comprehensive theft cover.
Customers are able to call or email one of the company’s advisors to file a claim and it will be processed within 24 hours depending on the claim type and device.
The service also offers gadget recycling services which will give customers the chance to sell their devices. The service will allow customers to compare their devices to the UK’s top recyclers in order for them to get the best possible deal.

The operator plans to expand its offering to include additional schemes including car insurance, van insurance and home insurance.
