New Motorola smartphone runs Android 2.2, available via Data Select and Carphone Warehouse
Motorola has launched its Milestone 2 smartphone in the UK via distributor Data Select and Carphone Warehouse’s website.
It will be available via Data Select on websites including Expansys, Clove and Play.com, starting at £379.99 SIM free.
No operator deals have been tied up yet.
Most online retailers are however offering it free as part of £30 or £35 18 and 24 month contracts on various networks.
The handset which is the follow up to the Motorola Milestone will run Google’s Android 2.2 system.
It has a 1Ghz processor, features Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and a QWERTY keyboard.
The phone also acts as a 3G mobile hotspot, connecting up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices.
Alain Mutricy, senior vice president of portfolio and device product management at Motorola, said: “Milestone 2 offers more power, more speed, with an improved keyboard, so users can send, access and share information even quicker than before to manage their work and personal life.”
