Mobile and fixed line reseller Excalibur Communications completes first commercial deployment of Vodafone unified communications proposition

B2B dealer Excalibur Communications has signed London security business Debco Rentals up to Vodafone’s OneNet unified communications proposition, the first commercial deployment of the service by Vodafone’s indirect sales channel.

Excalibur Communications is the first partner accredited to sell the solution by Vodafone, and has worked with Vodafone for more than a year to refine the proposition in preparation for its launch and for some months on development also of the channel programme that will attend it.

Managing director James Phipps said: “We are very excited to be chosen as the first premier partner in the UK as this is a culmination of a year’s worth of resource that we have put into making sure OneNet is a success for the indirect market.

“Excalibur has the right resources and scalability to successfully sell, implement and support Vodafone OneNet to the SME market.”

Vodafone UK SME sales director Rob Shardlow said: “Excalibur Communications has been invaluable in shaping the delivery of Vodafone OneNet with their insight and expertise in the SME marketplace. Excalibur has helped us deliver a top class service to our customers on the UK’s best network.”

Debco has 14 staff, of which a number work remotely.

Vodafone OneNet allows users one number for all their in-office and out-of-office communications, available to employers on a single bill and backed by a dedicated support centre. It allows integrated call management and switchboard features across mobile and fixed phones, managed via a secure online portal.
