Nokia and Kyndryl announce global network and edge computing collaboration

The partnership is built on the foundation of a successful private wireless connectivity project that combines Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) technology with Kyndryl’s consult, design implementation and managed services

Nokia and IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl have announced a global network and edge computing partnership.

The two companies will provide enterprise customers with LTE and 5G private wireless network solutions that delivers faster speeds and greater capacity for industry 4.0 technology that enables access to digital capabilities such as edge computing, AI data and IoT.

Kyndryl and Nokia believe private wireless networking over LTE and 5G can open up new levels of operational flexibility and adaptability across industries, particularly manufacturing.

The alliance will address marketplace opportunities that use the industrial ecosystem through LTE, while paving the way for 5G capabilities with existing Nokia DAC 5G stand alone ready private wireless solutions
