Saracens supplied with iPads and app to help coaches communicate with players
B2B mobile comms provider Active Digital and sister company ILG Business have developed and built a new “revolutionary” enterprise mobile application for Aviva Premiership rugby club Saracens.
Kent-based Active Digital, an O2 Centre of Excellence partner, supplied the rugby club, who is an existing customer, with more than 100 iPad tablets with the applications already installed.
Active Digital managing director Richard Groves said the app is designed to improve communication between coaching and playing staff during training sessions.
He said coaches and players are able to share specific training sessions, statistics, match footage, team talks, personal development sessions and time-table changes.
Groves said: “In creating this app, we have helped to revolutionise the training and management process for the club, ensuring all members and coaches have fast, reliable access to the information they need, when they need it.
“This will provide a significant boost to the efficiency of Saracens’ day-to-day performance, whether they need to rearrange a training schedule, revisit a crucial moment from a past match or focus on any other part of their training regime.”
