Deal adds 5G, IoT, SD WAN services to dealer’s portfolio

Olive Communications has signed a five-year deal with Vodafone that will see it broaden its portfolio of Vodafone products.

Having previously dealt primarily with mobile capability with the operator, the High Wycombe-based Vodafone Total Communications Partner is now delivering Vodafone 5G, IoT, fixed-line and SD WAN services, as it looks to focus more on converged services.

It is hoped that the deal will generate more than £125 million in revenue over the course of the five years.

Olive CEO Martin Flick said: “We’ve worked collaboratively with Vodafone for many years. This new partnership takes the relationship to the next level and is an exciting new chapter for both parties. We recognise that our customers want end-to-end digital solutions; Vodafone 5G, IoT, fixed line and SD WAN are fantastic additions to our portfolio.”

Vodafone UK head of partnerships Kathy Quashie added: “We are delighted to continue our strong relationship with Olive and excited about the potential value of its reach for our extended portfolio of fixed, mobile and converged services.”

The partnership is the latest in a series for milestones for Olive this year, having passed 150,000 connections in January, and opened an office in Brisbane, Australia to support its global cloud managed service.
