Exertis expands China office to promote UK brand growth

Asian centre of excellence in Shenzen has managed products in excess of £200 million in past 12 months

Exertis has opened a newly expanded office in China as part of its strategy to develop its global presence.

The distributor says its office in Shenzen has managed products worth in excess of $200 million in the past 12 months and serves as its Centre of Excellence in Asia.

The Basingstoke-based firm opened the office in Honglong Century Plaza in 2006 and said it serves as a platform for procurement, production management, logistics, transport management and quality assurance services in the region.

It said the expansion of the office will help boost UK brands build and quickly develop a route to market in China and beyond,

Exertis managing director Niall Ennis said “Exertis in China has gone from strength to strength since establishing a presence there in 2006 and the additional investment we are making there will allow us to continue to grow strongly, supporting the supply chain demands of our global technology customers by taking advantage of our knowledge and expertise to deliver tailored solutions.”
