The device will be available for pre-order from September 10, and on sale from October 1.

However Google has revealed that two 5G enabled phones will arrive later this year, in the form of the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5.

The 4a comes with a redesigned hole-punch design to the one that was present on the Pixel 4 and has a 5.8-inch OLED display.

It is available in ‘just black’ and has a 12MP main camera plus an 8MP selfie camera on the front.

The HDR+ camera features dual exposure controls, portrait mode, top shot and night sight with astrophotography.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but no expandable microSD capabilities.
