The accessories distributor will stock its Juice range in Boots nationwide

Gusto Telecom has announced that it is expanding its partnership with Boots, allowing it to distribute its Juice range across all stores nationwide.

The accessories distributor has been working with Boots since 2016 and initially began with products in 200 stores, but will now have full distribution across 2,486 stores.

Gusto has also signed an agreement to help Boots design its own range of products, providing the health and beauty retailer with bespoke products for its own label.

Gusto managing director Jolyon Bennett commented: “We are opening up our design capability to our retail partners to enable them to use our supply chain to create their own bespoke label. This is something that we have done for a number of retailers already.”

Bennett said that the expansion has come off the back of a strong performance for its Juice range in Boots stores as it targets shifting one million units through the retailer over the next year or so. The company did not, however, disclose any current figures.

“We’ve expanded with Boots because of the success of sales with them. We’ve been performing above expectations over the last year and Boots have got behind us with that.

“It is about driving more store penetration, so the increase in store numbers should help. We want to make it tailored for their customer demographic.”

In June, Gusto entered the fashion retail industry when it won a contract with ASOS to range its Juice products and plans to push into more retailers in 2019.

Gusto sales director Mary-Anne Blowman said: “Looking ahead, 2019 brings some incredibly exciting own-label collaborations and a whole collection of innovative product launches to the Juice range which we cannot wait to share.”

As well as Boots, Gusto also has its Juice range in a number of other retailers, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Urban Outfitters, Dixons Carphone, Halfords, Argos and Asda.
